Welcome to our Women of Wisdom Blog I am a speaker, author, trainer and mentor who is passionate about Direct sales. I joined Direct Sales in 1995, built a million dollar team reaching the #1 position in my company more than once & developed successful selling, sponsoring and coaching techniques helping women to achieve their goals. My professional and volunteer passion is actually tied into the wonderful profession of direct selling. I am a Business Consultant for companies in genesis, or smaller established direct selling companies, who need the services I provide through their transition until they are able to hire their executive personnel. I am the International Chapter Director for DSWA (Direct Selling Women's Alliance), an Advisor for the DSWA Diversity Center - Women of Wisdom, and a contributing co-author in "Build It Big" the best selling DSWA book.. In 2009, I was honored to be included as one of the 2009 Direct Selling 30 Women of Power, and recognized in the 2009 Direct Selling Power 50. I began my career in direct sales when black and white TV was all the rage! I have always had a passion for developing others. I have spent an intermixed 24 years on the corporate level and 20+ years in the field developing my own teams. During my field career, I personally sponsored over 1000 people and held over 3000 home shows. Honored to have been named Minnesota’s Working Woman of the Year, to have been included in Who’s Who of American Women, a past president of TCNN, former member of Zonta, and held various board positions.
